Kelley Reunion

From across the country and around the world, the Kelley Family made Valley City the official reunion location for 2007.
It turned out to be the perfect day for a photo-shoot and as you can clearly see the members of this ultra-beautiful family had a total blast whilst shooting some amazingly-outstanding pics!
It's always a pleasure to get to spend a fun-filled day with such a great and fun loving group of people. I did have to watch myself a few times as Steve decided to pull out the "guns" for a few pics. Not to worry, we made sure the children were a safe distance away.
Thanks again to a great group of people who traveled far and wide to be together this summer. I'm happy to say...the few below are only a very small sampling of what awaits you in your ultra-glamorous online gallery.

Jennifer and Derek

You know you've hit it big when people actually travel by plane just to have you take some super awesome photos of them!
That's exactly what Jennifer and Derek did! Coming all the way from Yuma, AZ to document their one year anniversary with a sweet day consisting of a beautiful outdoor session teamed up with an amazing trash the dress finale. We couldn't have been happier, or more chocked full of caffeine if we tried!
As you can see, any photographer would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful couple to have as their personal models. These two were not only incredibly beautiful, but so much gosh-darned fun to be around.
Have a safe flight home you two. We thank you for making the trek to document your amazing day.

Cowboys on Call

Saturday night turned out to be an amazing evening of super good fun in Fargo whilst celebrating the very cosmic birthday of our dear friend Sarah. Only thing was, this girl is what they call out of practice and ended up ready to head it home a little after midnight. Well, lets just say the rest of the crowd wasn't rearing to leave, so it was my duty to find my own way back.
Well, the coolest thing happened!
Not only did I get to meet a real cowboy (and you know how the ladies at Paurus Design appreciate a good cowboy) I got a free cab ride!
Cowboys On Call is the newest and quite frankly the coolest taxi cab service in Fargo. Owned by Matt Mitzel their mission is to provide a safe (and fun) transportation service to the Fargo bar crowd...without that creepy cab driver feeling.
On our trip from downtown to West Fargo we got aquainted and discussed our personal hurdles of starting a new business and talked about goals and future ambitions. It was refreshing to ride in a taxi with someone that actually had something interesting to talk about!
Well Matt, Paurus Design thanks you for your outstanding service and your amazing attention to detail. We know your business is gonna skyrocket! Good luck and see you after our next Fargo event. (as I would never consider hiring another taxi service EVER!)

(Sarah) 07 + 07 + 07 = 21

July 7th, 2007 (aka 07-07-07) Turned out to be a lucky day for many, some say the luckiest this century. Well, what if it was your 21st birthday on 07-07-07? Did you realize that 7+7+7=21? Crazy! One of our dearest friends at Paurus Design, and quite frankly at the Paurus House, did indeed turn 21 years old on 07-07-07. Who is this uber-lucky individual you ask? Why, it's the incredibly beautiful and equally talented Miss Sarah! Not only do our significant others share their compulsive golf addictions, but we also share a love of obvious sarcasm and word-smithing.
The VC crew packed it up to "represent" in Downtown Fargo. My oh my, did we rock the city down with our crazy brand of fun!

Harold Waddell says I'm Awesome

You will have to excuse me as I don't often get star struck. I had to post these immediately so I could totally rub the following images in my cousin Curt's face. (sucks to be you buddy, sucks to be you!)
The Paurus Design crew spent the day taking some sweet shots at the Eagle Ridge Hill Climb on Saturday. Big thanks to his royal highness Arnie who persuaded us to make time in our busy schedule to be the "official event photographers". What can we say...this club pretty much kicks hill climbing butt when it comes to organizing a professional event. We loved every sore legged-aching ankle-hill balancing-second of it. I even had the sweet pleasure of jumping off the side one time. (crazy renegade motorcycle!)
Thank God I got some mad skills when it comes to free style walking (ask E. Sauer about that one sometime!) Don't worry, the camera wasn't injured...but if scars make you look cool...consider me Miles Davis.
So the National Hill climbing champ Harold Waddell came all the way from Omaha, NE. I guess he heard Paurus Design was gonna be there.
