Amazing Kate

So I get this job assignment to do a model test shoot for the devistatingly beautiful Miss Kate.
It's actually a terrible problem to have when every photo you take turns out perfectly, isn't it Kate. (insert sarcastic sigh) I have to admit that the slamming photos this girl takes will definately get her noticed in a big way. Look out NYC here comes Kate!
Just remember to name drop like crazy about this kickin photographer that did your test shoot in North Dakota before you hit the big time. P-A-U-R-U-S (paw-roose)
Thanks Kate for a great shoot...we will miss you when you go!

The Napping Spot

Sometimes you just get lucky. No matter what they say, you can set up the lighting, the settings, the background...but sometimes a photograph designs itself. No matter how many millions of images I end up capturing in my lifetime. This one will always mean the most to me. My husband Jamie and my son Carver. Lucky for me I walked by when I did. They both woke up the second I took it.

Sister Sweet Pea

So my little sister Amy came over the other day for a photoshoot. I happen to think the girl has some kickass eyes and perfect skin. I guess it just runs in the family. (pause as I sigh)
I couldn't help but be amazed at how much she looks like me. Those images of her as a 3 year old with the frizzy ponytail and sundress are fading. I can't believe how beautiful she is.
Love you sissy,

The Beginning

It's funny to think that someone who normally follows her own set of rules would suddenly conform to the professional standards of creating a photography blog. I guess sometimes it's just the nature of the beast.
So, I guess I will try my very best to keep the blog up to date and to add projects and photos as they go through the editing phase. I will occasionally allow Aleisha to post for me, if time gets too crazy. (which it always does with a baby, two dogs, a business, a home, and a husband!)
I guess I should just call this the Aleisha Blog...but it doesn't sound as cool.
Enjoy the show and keep daydreaming!
